HYVE to Exhibit at CEA Summit East in Danville, Virginia September 19th & 20th

Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) will again take center stage at CEA Summit East in Danville, Virginia September 19th & 20th.
The event, in its second year, brings together some of the top minds in agriculture technology and CEA as equipment suppliers, growers, scientists, educators, extension specialists, and thought leaders come together under roof at the Institute for Advanced Learning & Research (IALR) in Danville.

In 2022 attendees from some 28 states took part in the inaugural conference and exhibition.

This year HYVE will again be exhibiting and sharing information on our advanced, scalable, fully-customizable, and complete hydroponic growing system designed for commercial indoor farming operations.

In February of this year, HYVE also announced a strategic partnership with Ageye Technologies of Raleigh, North Carolina. Ageye is a leader in advanced artificial intelligence and is a great complement to the HYVE comprehensive racking system.

Ageye bills itself as “an automation platform for vertical farms and greenhouses that monitors every plant 24/7, 365 – and uses state-of-the-art artificial intelligence to turn these visual inputs into growth development insights and autonomous actions, improving harvest predictability and profitability.”

Nick Genty, President of Ageye will be a featured speaker at the event and will be available for discussion on Ageye capabilities both autonomously and as they relate to use with the HYVE system.

Keynote address will be delivered by the honorable Matthew Lohr, Virginia’s Secretary of Forestry and Agriculture.

Ken Bryant, Director of Marketing for HYVE says of the event: “HYVE is again pleased to participate in this highly collaborative event in our home state of Virginia. There is so much value in the partnerships, relationships, and shared knowledge to be gained from participation. Governor Youngkin and Secretary Lohr have made it very clear that Virginia will be a leader in CEA and we feel extremely privileged to call Virginia our home, and we’re so happy to see this event in the Commonwealth. We believe our systems are second-to-none in terms of advanced technology and we are eager to demonstrate our capability to others who are experts, or who are just interested in the future of CEA. We feel for those on the East Coast and even beyond that this is a “must attend” event if you want to learn and practice the latest in advanced agricultural solutions.”
